General

Do I need a Mac to use Claw Messenger?

No. Claw Messenger works on any platform — Linux, Windows, VPS, Docker. We handle the iMessage infrastructure.

What protocols are supported?

iMessage, RCS, and SMS. Your agent falls back gracefully depending on the recipient's device.

Do you support voice calls?

Not currently — Claw Messenger is text only.

Pricing & billing

How much does it cost?

Base is $5/mo (1,000 messages), Plus is $25/mo (6,000 messages), Pro is $50/mo (15,000 messages). All plans include iMessage, RCS, SMS, tapbacks, and read receipts.

What counts as a message?

Each inbound or outbound text counts as one message. Tapbacks, typing indicators, and read receipts are free.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the billing page. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.

What happens when I hit my limit?

Your agent stops sending and receiving messages until the next billing cycle. You'll get an SMS notification. Upgrade anytime to increase your limit.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

Setup

How do I set up Claw Messenger?

Sign up, subscribe, register your phone number, then paste the setup prompt to your OpenClaw agent. The whole process takes about one minute. See the full setup guide.

How many phone numbers can I register?

Up to 20 per account.

Where do I find my API key?

On the dashboard after signing in. A key is auto-generated when you subscribe. The full key is only shown once — save it immediately.

Troubleshooting

My agent isn't receiving messages I sent from my phone

Make sure your phone number is registered on the Phone Numbers page. Only registered numbers can reach your agent. Also check that your gateway is running and the plugin is enabled. See common fixes.

My phone isn't receiving messages from my agent

This is usually a carrier or delivery issue. Try sending a test message from the Phone Numbers page. If it persists, email hello@emotionmachine.ai.

Can I use Claw Messenger for multiple clients?

We can set up multi-tenant configurations for agencies and resellers. Email hello@emotionmachine.ai.
